ACCOUNTING ANALYST

Reporting to: Director of Finance

Responsibility: Boost your career by becoming our next accounting analyst, a key role that combines technical rigor with analytical vision. You will actively participate in accounting cycles while developing your analytical and synthesis skills. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the position holder will be responsible for: monitoring and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts; identifying, analyzing, and correcting financial variances; preparing variance analyses (actual vs. budget) and ad hoc reports for management; preparing tax filings; collaborating in the audit process; in collaboration with the Director of Finance, preparing environmental royalties; responsible for calculating rebates and volume discounts; actively participating in our transformation project – ERP implementation.

Candidate profile: Bachelor's degree in administration, accounting or finance; accounting designation (an asset), at least two (2) years of experience, experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset), analytical, meticulous, autonomous and disciplined individual
